2 PEAS IN A POD ...THAT IS HOW A VET AND BREEDER SHOULD BE ........
A good breeder has a realtionship with a vet .
Vets are an important part of a young puppy's life .
the vet can check for worms ,coccidia ,hert murmers ,other health issues that a breeder can only
guess at .
Also ,the vet must see at some point the mothers and dads and mae sure they are also healthy and
happy .But as in breeders ,there are good and bad in vets .
Once ,a long time ago ,I had campylobactor .This came from one of my birds .The bird got sick and
then suddenly some of my babies got sick too .I had a few to die in less than 12 hours .Same symtoms almost as Parvo ,except
it wasn't .there was enough evidence to see the differences .
I called my vet .I sat up night after night and fed my babies until I saved them and that was because
I had someone on my side .Someone that knew the difference .
Any breeder needs that ,any vet needs to be open to the breeders knowlege and the breeder needs to
know the vet knows what he /she is saying .Alot don't .
My vets are open and honest ,caring and trustworthy .I can say what I think whenther they agree or
not and we talk it out ,reason over thinking they are King of the World .
A good vet is as hard to find as a good breeder .Make sure when you look ,you ask the questions also
.A vet and their pet owners should have a relationship of sharing and honesty .Make sure you feel comfortable with the vet
you choose .
